The Royal Government of Cambodia and Development Partners, World Bank, Asian Development Bank, and the European Union, join hands to conduct the public procurement system assessment using the Methodology for Public Procurement System Assessment (MAPS) in a launch workshop at Sofitel Phookeethra on 4th July 2024. The launch workshop was presided over by H.E. Pen Thirong, Under Secretary of State, Ministry of Economy and Finance.
During the workshop, Asian Development Bank shares the MAPS assessment experience, particularly progress, challenges and best practices. Additionally, MAPS public procurement assessment planning and governance arrangement, including mission team, evaluation methodology, data and analysis, and stakeholder involvement, was presented by the World Bank.
