Technology has no gender. In Cambodia, many young women continue to face hesitation when entering the Information and Communications Technology (ICT) sector, often due to deeply rooted social expectations, limited family support, limited early exposure to digital tools, or lack of visible female role models in the field. Every young woman has the potential to learn, lead, and innovate in the digital world. Through the “Women Leadership in the Public ICT Sector (WLICT)” program, we are working to change this narrative. By raising awareness and promoting gender inclusion across the public ICT sector, this initiative encourages more young women to confidently pursue digital studies and careers.
